The most visited cultural event in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region — the Sarajevo Book Fair — once again opens its doors to book lovers! Across more than 10,000 m² of exhibition space, over 200 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the world await you, along with more than one hundred promotional and accompanying programs. Meet your favorite authors, publishers, booksellers, and librarians, discover new books, and take part in discussions, book promotions, and workshops.

📖 Central Program “Bosnian House”
Book and author promotions, award ceremonies, and meet-and-greets with writers.

👧 Children’s Pavilion “Dom mladih” (Youth Hall)
A special area for young readers featuring workshops, storytelling sessions, and exhibitions of children’s creative work.

🌍 Guest of Honour: Kingdom of Spain
Discover the literature, culture, and publishing scene of the Guest of Honour country through a special exhibition and dedicated programs.

🏆 Fair Awards
Once again, our expert jury will present awards for outstanding artistic, scientific, and educational publications, innovations in publishing, and contributions to the promotion of books.

An international academic gathering featuring experts in literature, library science, and publishing.

🎟️ Free admission for organized group visits by educational institutions (minimum of 10 persons). A written notice is required at least one day prior to the visit, submitted by mail, email, or directly to the Organizer’s registry. The notice must include basic information about the organizing institution, group leader (responsible person), number of participants, and the expected time of visit.

 

Location

Centar Skenderija Sarajevo is a unique cultural, sports, and exhibition center. Since its opening in 1969, it has successfully organized fairs, congresses, seminars, and numerous cultural and sporting events, positioning itself at the forefront of major business and cultural activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Centar Skenderija – Sarajevo Fair has been organizing international fair events since 1970, when Sarajevo became known as a “fair city”. Since then, approximately 500 international specialized fairs from all sectors of the economy have been successfully realized.

Today, Sarajevo Fair organizes a large number of specialized exhibitions across 17,000 m² of exhibition space. Due to their quality and scope, these fairs play a significant role in the economic activities of this part of Europe.

Each year, more than 1,000 exhibitors and co-exhibitors present their products and services at fairs visited by over 200,000 visitors.

Since 1970, when the organization of international fairs began, Sarajevo has become recognized as a “fair city.” To date, more than 500 international specialized fairs from various sectors of the economy have been held at Skenderija.
